The son of GOF Broadstone 13B, the 1994 NWSS Grand Champion Bull. With a rich history and heritage, Glen Osprey Farms was the cornerstone the Highland Breed needed: between the 80's - 00's, GOF selected animals for high ADG (Average Daily Gains) and REA (Ribeye Size). Performing a multitude of grow tests along the way. This resulted in a long history of animals who can add frame, pounds, and BEEF to this heritage beef breed. Broadstone 18 was the the 2000 AHCA Bull of the year and was used extensively at Pimushe Farms. This very growthy dun bull is a little longer in frame and weighed in at 953lbs at one year old. He's very deep chested and full across the barrel. Broadstone 18 tends to throw highlights (white/yellow) in his progeny and carries a more American style with greater length and frame score than traditional Scottish genetics. His Calf Birth Weights have averaged around 70-80lbs.
