DH Express was a wide, stout, and well-made bull that was heavily used at Schon Boden Farms during the early 2000's. His pedigree really speaks of the greats: Jock of Glengorm (UK), DH King Lear (D), Ben Eniglair of Scone Palace (UK,D), and Orfhlaith of Dirtaine can all be found within a generations of Express' papers. A combination of growth and longevity. His maternal grandsire posted some impressive ADG's for his time. His dam, Drover Hill's Lear-Ghaoth, produced calves until she 19 years old. Express was a stout made bull, but was still moderately sized in his frame. DH genetics are getting more and more difficult to come by. Their animals have been sought after long after the farm dispersed due their great success in and out of the showring. along with their progressive mindset of importing genetics, hosting sales, and publishing information to the internet during a time when the highland breed was far less popular than it is now. Express calves are easy fleshing, and will be a neat outcross on a wide variety of genetics.
