NCHCA's Annual Summer Picnic will be at Windland Flats - Princeton, MN - Saturday, July 19th, 2025 @12pm

12pm: Event starts with a Potluck Lunch

• Potluck will be held in the "loft" - a hay loft we converted into an event room (it has AC :) 

Followed by:

• 1pm: Key Speaker, Dr. Chris Nord - Mille Lacs Veterinary Clinic - on calving & dystocia. When to intervene  
• 2:30pm: Windland Flats Pasture Walk & Sponsor Representative Sessions
  • There will be several reps to chat with in small groups, and one-on-one from some of our sponsors. 
    • Nicole from FerAppease (Will have a booth setup)
    • Thomas From Form-A-Feed (Will have booth setup)
      
    • Holly from Highland Genetics - Will be giving a "tips & tricks" demo on photographing Highland Cattle.
    • Katie from NRCS will be present to chat about USDA Programs, Incentives, & Questions
  • View the "Shade Haven's" in Action - We Will Have a Shade Haven Rep on Site to chat about the shades and answer any questions on the Pasture Walk
  • Note: An Arrowquip Chute will be on site if you're interested in seeing it with Highland Cattle 

Junior Activities:

• Pack a swimsuit! Windland Flats has a pool that can be enjoyed by the kiddos during the day. Maria Krenz also offered to supervise the pool area Saturday Afternoon.
